"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Missions
Bethel is a missions-minded church. Our overseas missions during the Summer, gives the greatest number of members the opportunity to participate in evangelism to foreign nations.
We don't only minister to foreign nations, but locally as well. We, as the body of Christ, participate in outreach on various levels -- preaching the Word of God, caring for the sick and shut in, visiting prisons and nursing homes.
SOUP KITCHEN
& FOOD PANTRY
As part of our community outreach, Bethel sponsors a food pantry as well as a soup kitchen. This ongoing outreach ministry has enabled the church to reach many of our neighbors; feeding them with natural food as well as spiritual food.

SOUP KITCHEN
Several members of Bethel meet during the week to prepare nutritious lunches for our neighbors. While the City was shut down, these volunteers continued their mission to work and prepare take out plates for those who may otherwise not have had a nutritious meal.
Meals were also delivered to those who because of the shutdown, remained unable to physically come and pick up a meal.
Serving in the community is not only rewarding, but also fulfills the command to go into all the world.
HEALTH FAIR
Bethel's annual Health Fair is part of it's Community Day. Among other activities, volunteers present health classes educating the community about healthy eating, ways to pepare healthy meals. Blood pressure monitoring, and testing is done on the spot.
The community is invited to attend and find free articles, food, and fun. We aim to introduce people to Jesus Christ and a prayer table is set up as our mission is to win souls.

COMMUNITY DAY
As Bethel continues its community outreach, many volunteers are needed. Some serve as security, others prepare food, others mingle and witness. Still others in vaying age groups sing worship and praise songs, or praise with the dance.
Some in the community who would never think about entering a church building receive ministry and are prayed for.
